Medical Ethics: Acknowledgements, self-regulation of medical profession: concept and history, the political economy of medical malpractice, regulation of the medical profession: the scope of legislation, the functioning of councils, conclusions and recommendations, references and bibliography.

 Medico Legal communication: Medico- legal case (MLC), important points in specific cases, preservation of sample in MLC, important contacts, general guidelines for dealing with medico-legal cases, precautions to be a taken in MLCs, guidelines for preservation of medico-legal evidence, guidelines for preservation of medico-legal documents, guidelines for handling of death in unit lines.

 Medical Professional & Patient – The Legal Relationship:  Medical ethics and patients’ right, code of ethics.
